Aggro decks win the game by turn 5 or 6, so every tapped land is a missed land drop. The ideal aggro mana base trades fancy fixing for raw tempo: basics, pain lands, fetch + shock pairs when budget allows, plus a handful of haste enablers like Hall of the Bandit Lord.
