How Landfiller builds your mana base

Choose a commander or import a full deck, set a purchase budget, and review a land package. The result is a starting plan that you can compare, edit, export, and playtest. Reviewed October 7, 2026.

What improves the input

A commander provides color identity and a broad plan. A complete imported deck adds pip requirements and your current lands. Include owned cards and protected lands when those should affect the missing-card purchase budget.

  1. Import the complete 100-card list including the commander.
  2. Check unresolved cards and detected color identity.
  3. Set land count, budget, bracket, and owned or protected cards.
  4. Build and inspect color coverage, tapped lands, and fetch targets.
  5. Compare changes and record missed drops across several games.

What the model measures

The solver balances source targets, land entry conditions, color identity, budget, and supported commander synergies. The health panel describes nominal sources and timing risks. A heuristic source target does not prove that every spell can be cast on curve.

Check your land-drop odds

64.9% to see at least 4 lands in 11 cards. One more land: 67.6%.

Calculation assumptions

99-card library, seven-card opener, one draw each turn. No mulligans, extra draw, ramp, or tapped-land timing. Seeing lands does not guarantee casting your spells.

Check a specific colored cost →

Use the colored-mana calculator for a specific spell. Its exact probability model measures sources seen without replacement. Mulligans, extra draw, activation costs, and actual sequencing require a separate review.

Card data and prices

Scryfall supplies card text, color identity, images, legality, and indicative prices. Cached data can lag a marketplace. Review the selected printing, condition, availability, shipping, and final cart before buying.

Owned cards affect what remains to purchase. An estimate of missing-card cost is different from the total value of the deck. TCGplayer links may earn an affiliate commission.

Brackets and recommendation limits

Wizards’ Commander brackets describe the intended table experience. A mana base does not determine a complete deck’s bracket. Review combos, extra turns, land denial, consistency, and the intended winning speed with your group.

The solver cannot fully infer a deck’s strategy, metagame, or your preferred opening hands. Conditional lands and unusual commanders deserve a manual review. If a recommendation clashes with your plan, protect the card you want to keep and rebuild.

Keep the review loop useful

Change one variable at a time. Compare a land slot or budget, inspect the health panel, and save notes about missed drops or colors. Complete imported decks can continue into Precon Workshop, Budget Swap, Deck Mender, or Bracket Shift with the selected lands.
